JMEC, IGAD Special Envoy hold consultative meeting on ARCSS, CoH
The Joint Monitoring and Evaluation (JMEC) and the IGAD special envoy to South Sudan have on Thursday held a consultative meeting on the latest happening as pertains to the Peace Agreement and High-Level Revitalization Forum (HLRF).
The Special Envoy Amb. Ismail Wias and the Commission discussed the Cessation of Hostilities (CoH) agreement and the efforts being made towards the second phase of the HLRF, which is expected to start next month.
On his part, JMEC Deputy Chair Lt. Gen. Amb. Augostino Njoroge updated the envoy about the expectations of the Commission in 2018 about the ARCSS and its implementation process.
